7th Grade Response
For Call of the Wild, my seventh grade students created a storyboard for each chapter. They had to identify a theme, related quote, and summary for each chapter. Then then had to do a visual representation of the chapter.

7th Reading Response
For most novels this year, students had to answer chapter questions. In each response they were required to TTQA (turn the question around), cite textual evidence, explain textual evidence, and make a text to self/world/text connection.

6th Research Project
In this project, the students "traveled" to another country. They researched facts and then incorporated them into a narrative response.

6th Descriptive Writing
In this activity, the students examined how adjectives, nouns, and prepositions added to description. They "drew" the differences in the two paragraphs.
